Responsible Gambling

Blaze · operated on the Holla Africa platform

Gambling should be entertainment — never a way to make money, pay debts or escape problems. The house edge means that over time the games keep a margin; treat what you spend as the cost of the fun, decide it before you play, and stop when it's gone.

1. Tools built into your account

Deposit limits — set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on what you can deposit. A new or lower limit applies immediately; raising a limit only takes effect after a cooling-off period, so a hot moment can't undo a calm decision. Set it under Account → Responsible Play.
Self-exclusion — block yourself for a period you choose, or indefinitely. It takes effect immediately: you cannot log in to play, cannot deposit, and you will receive no marketing. Self-exclusion cannot be lifted early in the heat of the moment.
Reality check — your wallet and game history (Account → History) show exactly what you've deposited, wagered, won and lost. Look at the real numbers regularly.
Marketing off — switch off promotional messages any time in your account, or reply STOP to any message.

Our support team can also set any of these for you on request — just ask in Live Support. Support agents are trained to take any mention of gambling harm seriously and will offer these tools proactively.

2. Warning signs — check yourself honestly

Spending more money or time than you planned, or "chasing" losses to win them back.
Gambling with money meant for rent, food, debit orders or family needs.
Borrowing to gamble, or hiding your gambling from people close to you.
Feeling irritable or anxious when you try to cut down.
Gambling to escape stress, depression or loneliness.

Two or more of these are a real signal. Set a limit or exclusion today — it takes one minute — and consider talking to the free counsellors below. Asking for help is confidential and costs nothing.

3. Free, confidential help in South Africa

National Responsible Gambling Programme (NRGP) — free, confidential counselling and treatment, 24/7: toll-free 0800 006 008, WhatsApp 076 675 0710, www.responsiblegambling.org.za.
SADAG (South African Depression and Anxiety Group) — 0800 567 567, for the stress and depression that often travel with problem gambling.

These services are independent of us, free, and open to family members of gamblers too.

4. Keeping minors out

Nobody under 18 may register or play — we verify age and ID, and accounts found to belong to minors are closed with stakes returned and winnings void.
At home: keep your login and devices locked, don't save passwords on shared devices, and don't let children watch you play real-money games as "entertainment".
Parental-control software (e.g. device family settings) can block gambling sites on children's devices.

5. Our commitments

Limits and exclusions apply the moment you set them — no delays, no quibbles.
No marketing to self-excluded players, and no bonuses designed to lure an excluded player back.
Deposit-pattern monitoring: unusually escalating deposits are flagged for human review.
Trained support: any mention of harm is escalated and met with tools and help-line details, not sales talk.

If gambling has stopped being fun, stop — and call 0800 006 008. It's free and it works.
